Delivery & Returns Policy

PLEASE NOTE

Due to health and safety regulations, upstairs deliveries are at the carriers discretion and cannot be guaranteed. This includes, but not limited to, steps that are immediately outside the premises, which a carrier would be required to climb in order to gain access to the property.

Delivery – 1 Man

All orders are processed and shipped in the order that they are received. Normal delivery time is 7 to 10 working days. Delivery times may increase around holidays and peak shipping seasons. The freight delivery service you receive may vary among carrier companies. Since most carriers deliver to the curb side immediately adjacent to their vehicle and regard inside delivery as an extra service cost, it may be necessary for you to assist or move merchandise into your home, this is especially relevant if you live in a block of flats as carriers will only deliver to the ground floor entrance to the block.

If you have alternative delivery requirements, please contact Watson Gym Equipment and we can make alternative arrangements. Ideally include two telephone numbers (e.g. Home / Office and Mobile) so that the carrier can contact you should they need too. All deliveries are made Monday to Friday, between 8 am and 6 pm. Saturday deliveries are available, please contact Watson Gym Equipment for a low cost quotation. Unfortunately our carriers are unable to give specific times for the free delivery service, if you would like a specific time or weekend, we would be happy to provide a quotation, please call us on 01373 455 550

Delivery – 2 Man

This service is only available on large premium priced products – please check with us at the time of your order. Although the carrier will place the product in the ground floor room of your choice, this is subject to good and safe access.

Please note: Due to health and safety regulations, upstairs deliveries are at the carriers discretion and are not guaranteed. We can install upstairs though this requires our own specialist team, please call for a low cost installation.

This includes steps that are immediately outside the premises and are required to climb in order to gain access to the property. Please allow at least 10 working days for this service.

If it is found that the product “will not fit” through / round any doors / stairwells and the product is subsequently returned, you are responsible for all outward and return carriage costs and a 15% re-stocking fee is applicable.

These larger products have pre-arranged deliveries, which mean the item will be booked in with you by the carrier or the supplier. If when the carrier arrives with your goods after pre-arrangement and there is no-one present to receive them, they will be returned to the carrier’s depot, or to the supplier. In this case you will be liable for all charges for re-delivery. If the order is subsequently cancelled, you will be liable for all carriage charges and a 15% re-stocking fee.

All deliveries are made Monday to Friday, between 8 am and 6 pm.

Unfortunately our carriers are unable to give specific times for the free delivery service, if you would like a specific time or weekend we would be happy to provide a quotation, please call us on 01373 455 550. Watson Gym Equipment will not be held responsible for any delays / damages due to third party carriers, nor can we entertain any claims for compensation where the carrier fails to deliver at an agreed time. Any claims for damages to property caused by any third party carrier must be taken up direct with the carrier.

 

FOR ORDERS WITHIN THE UK

We offer a flat rate shipping option for all items delivered to a UK Mainland address.

The total shipping cost for your order can be seen when viewing your shopping cart or during the checkout process.

Shipping is more efficient when multiple items make up an order.

Any specific requirements regarding the delivery can be added to the ‘Additional Notes’ text box at checkout. We are incredibly flexible so tell us all your requirements and we’ll do everything we can to help.

 

For Delivery Only

Normal deliveries are Monday to Friday, 8 am – 6 pm. Saturday deliveries can be arranged at a small additional charge.

All deliveries require a signature. Please check the delivery carefully and if the packaging looks to be damaged in any way please mark the delivery as ‘Damaged’ when signing. If in any doubt please mark the delivery as ‘Damaged’.

Some machines will be delivered on large steel double pallets, this is to protect the kit as much as possible during transit. It will be your responsibility to unload the pallets from the delivery truck, therefore we highly recommend a forklift. However if you have a few extra hands you will be able to strip the pallet on the truck and unload manually. All our machines will fit through a standard doorway and we are always here to help with advice on dismantling and reassembling machines – it’s very easy!

 

For Delivery and Installation

You may chose to have delivery and installation in which case Watson Gym Equipment installers will deliver on a day and time to suit you, they will install and fully commission the equipment for you. Please call us for a quote regarding this service.

 

FOR ORDERS OUTSIDE THE UK

We ship all our equipment worldwide with regular orders being shipped all over Europe, the US, Canada and Australia.

Normal deliveries are Monday to Friday, 8 am – 6 pm.

All deliveries require a signature. Please check the delivery carefully and if the packaging looks to be damaged in any way please mark the delivery as ‘Damaged’ when signing. If in any doubt please mark the delivery as ‘Damaged’.

Some large machines will be delivered on pallets, please be aware that the driver will offload the pallet but you will need to remove and carry the machine into the building. All our machines will fit through a standard doorway and we are always here to help with advice on dismantling and reassembling machines – it’s very easy!

If you are ordering from outside EU any additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you. We have no control over these charges and can’t predict what they may be.

Customs policies vary widely from country to country, so you should contact your local customs office for further information. Additionally, please note that when ordering from Watson Gym Equipment you’re considered the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the country in which you’re receiving the goods.

 

SPECIFIC DELIVERY DATES

If items are being delivered by our own installers (usually larger items), we will always be able to confirm the delivery day and also a fairly accurate idea of the delivery time.

For goods delivered via a third party courier, we can usually confirm a specific day but this cannot be guaranteed.

Watson Gym Equipment cannot entertain any claim for compensation arising from late delivery due to a third party carrier.

 

RESTRICTED ACCESS

Although our carriers are equipped with detailed road maps of every area of the UK mainland, is there any further information that would make your home easier to locate?

Due to the overall size of some delivery vehicles, Watson Gym Equipment or any carriers delivering on behalf of us must be informed of any restrictions regarding access for the delivery vehicle. This includes, though not limited to, steps (including those required to climb to gain access to the property entrance), trees, shrubs, steeply inclined driveways, narrow lanes, tight bends or any other restrictions that may make it difficult for the delivering vehicle to gain access to the point of delivery.

Watson Gym Equipment will not accept any claims for compensation arising from non / failed / refused delivery of any item where the carriers or Watson Gym Equipment were not made aware of any points regarding access restrictions. In the event that the item is refused / cancelled due to these restrictions, the customer is liable for all carriage charges. We would therefore recommend that you ensure the product will fit and can be transported to its ground floor point of installation easily. If you need to confirm the total ‘boxed’ dimensions of a product please call Watson Gym Equipment prior to placing your order.

 

ORDER CANCELLATION & REFUSED DELIVERIES

You may cancel your order for a full refund prior to your order being shipped or ordered from the manufacturer, though if any costs have been incurred they will be deducted from monies received.

If you cancel your order after it has been shipped, you are responsible for any and all freight charges incurred by Watson Gym Equipment. Any unpaid freight charges will be deducted from your refund.

If you refuse to accept delivery of your order for any other reason than the product being damaged in transit, you are liable for all outward and return freight charges incurred by your refusal.

If it is found that any of the larger products upon delivery ‘will not fit’ through any doors / stairwells and the product is subsequently returned / refused, you are responsible for all outward and return carriage costs.

 

RETURNS POLICY

IT IS ESSENTIAL THAT YOU KEEP ALL THE PACKAGING. YOU MUST RE-PACK ALL ITEMS IN THE ORIGINAL PACKAGING FOR RETURN TO WATSON GYM EQUIPMENT. WE CANNOT ACCEPT ANY ITEMS FOR RETURN THAT ARE NOT IN THEIR ORIGINAL PACKAGING UNLESS DEEMED TO BE FAULTY BY WATSON GYM EQUIPMENT OR ONE OF IT’S ENGINEERS.

Our exchange and return policy is simple:

If within your 7-day home approval, you wish to return or exchange an item, call us on 01373 455 550 between 9 am and 5 pm, Monday to Friday, to obtain a Return Authorisation Number – no returns or exchanges will be accepted without this authorisation number.

Once you receive this number, please make arrangements to send back the piece(s) you need to exchange or return to arrive back at Watson Gym Equipment within 7 working days. All returns and exchanges must be shipped back by freight, with the delivery pre-paid and with the piece(s) unused, disassembled and arrive in “as new” condition in the original packaging.

Please contact our Customer Services department within 7 days from the day after you receive your shipment in order to receive return authorisation. You will be charged for items received back that, when inspected, are found to have been used or built. Special order items, or items manufactured to your specifications are not returnable. In the event of special order items that are received faulty, we will of course rectify this by either replacing the faulty part, or if the entire product is faulty, a full replacement will be sent free of charge. Shipping and handling charges on returns are the responsibility of the customer and are not refundable.

Goods purchased from our showroom are exchanged at the managers discretion.

WARRANTY

If you have an item break and is in warranty then please get in touch with us and we will arrange it to be fixed. We do not cover the shipping to return a broken part or for sending out a new part, but we will fix it or make a new replacement part if needed which is included in the Warranty whenever you purchase a Watson Piece of Equipment. 
 
If your product is out of Warranty then get in contact with us and we can discuss sending out what ever is needed. If the products are not covered under warranty then the parts will need to be paid for plus any work to fix them or replacement parts as well as the shipping. 
 
If you sell on your products as second hand then this does invalidate the warranty.
