Available with either parallel or angled grips, the Watson Frame Log Bar – Type II is great for all types of pressing and rowing.

 

The parallel grip version allows you to train all types of bench pressing, overhead pressing and rowing exercises with a hammer style grip.

 

The angled grip version allows those same movements to be performed with a much more natural grip and is great for easing shoulder strain.

 

The 30 mm diameter handgrips are spaced 600 mm apart (centre-to-centre) which makes it great for chest, shoulder and tricep work.

 

Customers are also telling us how good they are for deadlifting and bicep curls.

 

The Watson Frame Log Bar – Type II is 7” long, will handle over 450 kg and will fit any Olympic Power Rack.

    I bought this bar for neutral grip overhead press, and it is excellent. All my plates slide right on and off. I have used it for rows as well with no issue. I look forward to using it for bench press; the width fits me perfectly at 46R American.

    I would recommend.

    This bar is just awesome. It’s a thing of beauty as well, with the chrome finished bar ends set against the all black finish, it’s quite striking in appearance. The best part is that it’s brought some real variety to my overhead pressing and it works super for bent rows and deadlits as well. I couldn’t be happier with the quality and craftsmanship that went into making this bar and I highly recommend it anyone looking to add some variety to their workouts.

    This is a monster of a bar, heaviest bar in my collection by far. Rotating sleeves definitely worthwhile.

    Much more natural movement for benchpress – and a bit less stable, so really tests all supporting muscles – and is a little humbling on weight

    recommend using with fat gripz as they seem to help with stability

    another smooth oversea transaction (i’m french) : the frame log bar type II is so far my favorite bar, i always had some shoulder and wristle pain performing bench press with a strainght bar so i decided to give the neutral grip a try. so far i’m amazed by the benefits, no more wristle pain and my shoulders feel really better too. i use the log frame bar for my bench press, shoulder press/push press and for bent over barbell row . the handles fit perfectly my shoulder width . i can also do some hevy hammer curls. i also put it on top of my rack to use it as a neutral pull up bar. very effective. and as always, top notch quality, sturdy, built like a tank , perfect welds . the watson team (Nick ,Lucy ) were always available for my questions through the whole process, order delivered by fedex , bar perfectly wrapped in a great protective package . you can’t go wrong with this guys. and if you want to save your shoulders and wristle this bar is for you.

    The best bar for shoulder press, bench press and bent over rows as it puts your arms in a more natural position reducing any stress on your joints.
    The powder coating has a nice tacky feel to it giving a solid grip and the quality of the bar is AWESOME.
