I bought the loading pin to go with my DIY lat pulldown machine, which consists of two pulleys and some rope attached to my power rack.
It’s very heavy duty, and Watson thoughtfully placed the weld on the underside, so your plates sit nice and flat.
Of course, it works great attached to a dipping belt too.

Product purchased: 24″ loading pin. || Time of Purchase: January 2019
The product is well made, durable and comfortable in usage. The usage of the loading pin is limited by the imagination of the user, rather than its load bearing capacity. With an olympic collar and a sufficiently long loading pin, alternate uses include a plate loaded mace/club for swinging, a fore arm tension tool in the nature of a hammer and use with neck harness. A 24″ inch custom loading pin was especially necessary for neck work as any thing short of 18″ would make the plates scrape against the scrotum. At the moment of this review, this product was worth more than the costs incurred in its purchase.

Solid and well made pin for use with grip work implements.
I called to see how long delivery lead time would be and was told three weeks.
Got an email the next day from the sales team saying they asked the welder to stay late and finish it. Got the pin three days later!
Service and products are second to none!
I will definitely buy from Watson again!

Perfect. Excellent build quality and works great with pinch blocks.

Bought 24 inch loading pin. Excellent product and reasonably priced even when shipped to Australia. A very strong device and obviously custom made. Very good customer service as Watsons sent email updates regarding manufacture and delivery. I. have a shorter Ironmind loading pin but Watson loading pin significantly superior. Highly recommend this device

Excellent build quality and attention to detail. I am currently using the loading pin as part of a home gym pulley machine for loading Olympic plates. Highly recommended.
MARCELLO –
Very solid product. I bought the loading pin 20 inches.

This loading pin is excellent quality and clearly built to last. I train in a garage which is relatively cold and damp, meaning the exposed steel pin is prone to discolouration and (eventually) rust, but a little maintenance with WD40 soon takes care of that. Minor gripe is that the hole at the top is small, meaning that the clip can be a little awkward to rotate and release, especially after a tough set, but it’s not really a problem. Very pleased with the loading pin, and with the service from Watson.

bought the 20 inch pin for belt squats. Quality, Very well made, well worth the money. Good service.

My 16″ loading pin was one of the first products I got from Watson’s, around 9 or 10yrs ago. I have used this pin EXTENSIVELY throughout the years and continue to do so- all manner of grip work, hanging weight for Dips and Chins, straddle lifts and neck work with a harness. A loading pin is such a versatile piece of equipment and a must have for all of the above.
Some years ago they even made me a 24″ custom pin to house all the additional plates when I ramped up the straddle lift.
Another great, solid and trust worthy product I would highly recommend.

Great product , well made , will last forever, only downside was the clip was missing.
