i would definately buy one of these if there was a 1-inch diameter hole bored from one end to the other to allow for it to slide onto the safety pin/bar on my power rack! this takes the arms + shoulders out of it, + allows to just concentate on wrist rolling, without strain on arms or shoulders, just as a lot of wrist rollers are made now to SLIDE ONTO THE 1”-DIAMETER SAFETY BAR ON A POWER RACK. i will buy one of these if that is done-(1”DIAMETER HOLE BORED FROM ONE END TO THE OTHER END, RIGHT THROUGH THE CENTRE?

My girlfriend bought me this for my birthday – I like it, but with some reservations. First, the good. This works as a ‘normal’ wrist roller also, as it is significantly bigger than the picture would imply, the part in between the balls can be used. The ball grips do add another training option, and this is certainly a lot more heavy duty that the cheap thing I had from amazon previously (the cord snapped mid exercise and narrowly missed my toe).

What I don’t like however is that there is no central track for the wire to wrap around. The attachment point for the wire rope blocks the middle (necessarily, I guess), so the wire wraps around one side only, which you then need to try and balance out mid exercise. The thickness of wire makes this a futile task, so one side gets progressively heavier in comparison. The only way I see this being solved would be to use nylon webbing with a snap hook on the end instead of the wire, with some guide rails either side. this could then roll around on itself, and thus keep the weight centred. That is my main critism of this product, the others are more minor – I think would be helpful would be for the wire to be detachable, so that this could be used as a handle for lat pull downs / low rows etc, and I think the ball parts are slightly too big, so it becomes more of a grip strength exercise rather than training the forearm muscles for strength/size.

Watson make some awesome equipment, and I am sure I will be a repeat customer, but hope my comments are taken into account for any future iterations of this product.

Thanks for your comments and feedback. We’ll have a play around with the design and possibly make some tweaks to improve the use of the Ball Wrist Roller.

It is true , this ball grip version adds a new dimension over the regular wrist roller. The forearms are being solicited so extreme and the results are
    very quick.You realize immediately that
all the muscles of the forearm are involved in the exercise.
I recommend this product for a serious workout and for those who need a strong forearm to functional training with macebell and clubbell.
