Introducing…The Animal Dual-Stack High Pulley Row
Whereas most back exercises target the back by lifting the weight in a straight line, the Animal High Pulley Row requires you to pull in an ‘arc’ motion.
This is a much more natural movement that incorporates all portions of the lats, since it’s the motion they’re designed to work in.

Using The Animal Dual-Stack High Pulley Row In Your Training
You have multiple training options with this machine.
When you first get your hands on our High Pulley Row, we recommend a phase of performing it early in your workout, when the lats are fresh.
This will enable you to get a great feel of the movement and hit the lats in a way they’ve never felt before.
From there, you can either continue performing this exercise early in your workout prior to all your other back exercises and continue driving up the working weight…
Or you could try some of the following:
- Circuit
Use it as a part of a circuit to either pre-fatigue the lats, or as a finisher to really smoke the lats and maximize the pump.
- Unilateral
Train one arm at a time and put more emphasis on each side separately.
- Drop Sets
Keeping performing sets to failure with decreasing weights each time until your lats are so swollen they’ll feel like they’re going to burst out of your shirt.
- 1 and ½ reps
With this, you have 3 options: –
Option #1: Overload the beginning range
- Lift the weight half way
- Lower back to the start
- Lift the weight all the way
- Lower back to the start
Option #2: Overload the end range
- Lift the handles all the way
- Lower halfway
- Lift the weight back to the end position
- Lower back to the start
Option #3: Overload the beginning AND end range (total lat devastation)
- Lift the weight half way
- Lower back to the start
- Lift the weight all the way
- Lower halfway
- Lift the weight back to the end position
- Lower back to the start
