A trainee doesn’t need any other bar to effectively strength train the whole body.
Overhead squatting, specifically, is an essential training tool for everything from initial movement screening, improving biomechanics and flexibility up, to mastering Olympic lifting technique and performance.

The bar was created to overcome the main problem occurring when overhead squatting. When done with a traditional straight bar, wrists are put in a highly stressful position, causing strain and pain. This is a result of holding the bar above the head with a wide grip. However, using a wide grip is the correct way to execute this exercise.

Therefore, to overcome this issue, Delrade has developed a new and innovative ergonomic bar which allows your wrists to sit in a comfortable and stress-free position, eliminating wrist injury by spreading the weight and pressure evenly across the wrist, leaving you to focus on your training goals. Please see the video for a demonstration.

      My wrists used to always hurt when lifting and sometimes the discomfort would cause me to break a set.

      Now the only thing stopping me is adding extra weight and doing more reps. In a few weeks I have added extra weight to my lifts and with no pain or discomfort.

      I feel sorry for anyone still using a traditional Olympic bar as you don’t realise how bad it is until you try this!

      The bar is also very heavy duty and hard wearing. I think it is of a very high quality and it will really last!

    • All shipments will be sent on a tail-lift truck unless otherwise stated.
    • VAT is charged at point of order.
    • Curbside delivery on a tail-lift truck (unless otherwise stated). Some larger kit may require a forklift; our sales team will advise if this is needed.
    • It will be your responsibility to move the pallet from the curbside into your address. We would recommend having extra people to help move the kit into your premises

    • Small items are shipped by a courier partner.
    • You will be provided a Tracking Number.
