At Watson Gym Equipment, we believe that leg presses should ideally be performed on a free-weight machine, but we understand that for safety, convenience and ease of use, a lot of gyms would prefer to have a selectorised version of the Plate Load Leg Press. To cater for this, we have developed an incredibly heavy-duty, ultra-smooth, simple-to-use seated leg press with a heavy-weight stack. The Watson Seated Single Stack Leg Press has a large footplate allowing for various foot positions to put the load onto the quads or hamstrings as required. The carriage runs on 4 x 40 mm Thomson linear bearings, giving a completely friction-free movement and an amazingly smooth feel. So if you want a really serious, heavy-duty leg press you don't have to load yourself, the Watson Seated Single Stack Leg Press offers the perfect solution.

Turn essential protection into a high-impact design feature. Add your custom logo or design to the stack guards of our single or dual stack strength machines. For ultimate refinement, opt for architectural stack guards crafted in luxury finishes, including wood grain.
The smallest adjustment can make the biggest difference. Level up your training with our optional micro-adjuster system, with two 1.85kg weights offering incremental resistance when you’re struggling to progress to the next weight in the stack. Each micro adjuster deploys easily and clicks readily back into place when not required.

Aarun Sokhal –
I needed a leg press for my gym. Ideally I wanted a plate loaded one but settled for the selectorised pin-loaded one reluctantly due to space constraints. I’ve used many in the past and they’re just not that smooth, they’re no where near heavy enough and the contraction isn’t the best.
This all changed with the Watson single leg stack leg press. I have upgraded the stack to the 30 plate version in worry that I’ll need to use it – no chance – this thing is freaking heavy. The 1:2 ratio is no joke. he massive footpad allows for a lot of flexibility re positioning.
The machine is actually on steel bearings which feel VERY similar to a plate loaded machine. The machine is also angled really well with the foot plate that you feel like you’re in a high end leg press.
And its all in an excellent compact form factor.
The actual footpad has a really really firm surface which is evidently going to be very protective over time.
The contraction is excellent throughout the entire leg press movement.
The loading of the pin and change of weight is simple and easy. Its just so safe, sleek and simple that anyone can use it. Also the cost benefit of not needing loads of 20kg plates is massive.
I got mine with custom made Bentley stitching which is gorgeous as usual.
The machine itself is also stunning to look at. It honestly gives Rolls Royce vibes from behind with the stainless steel and the images on the site do not do it justice.
Thanks to Lucas for helping with this and recommending it.
