Need an incredibly versatile cable machine with a tiny footprint? The Watson Dual Cable Adjustable Pulley has two swivel pulley housings running on a full-height adjustable cable column allowing you to work both arms/legs independently. Pulling one of the cables will give a 2:1 weight ratio, and pulling both cables together will give a 1:1 weight ratio. This change in ratio on the Dual Cable Adjustable Pulley means you can do all the small movements, such as rotator cuff works, lateral raises, etc., with a single cable yet still have plenty of weight for the big movements using both cables. This offers a huge benefit over the regular Single Adjustable Pulley. Support rails add to the versatility and help with stability during single arm/leg work. The 100 kg split weight stack (half-size plates at the top for small exercises) gives plenty of resistance to suit all athletes. Absolutely phenomenal machine. You can do literally anything on this from lat pulldowns to pull throughs to rear delt work to bilateral chest flies, to low rows, to lateral delt flies, to ab crunches to bicep curl variations, to tricep work – to even small movements like rotator cuff work.
Build quality, fit and finish are great. The stacks come with metal plates, showing both a number and the weight. Everything from the stainless steel middle piece to the paint to the heavy duty metal carabiners are awesome.
The stack is very heavy, even with one handle but the magic is when using both handles to convert to a 1:1 ratio where it can push anyone to their limits by using the full weight of the stack. Then it has the massive positive of also being able to use two handles at once, for flies etc.
The machine also had a gap at the bottom where you can put your feet when doing lat pulldowns so your body stays anchored.
Customer service was excellent and specific thanks to Simon and Lucas who were phenomenal with any issues. The customisability and communication were top class. I might post a video on youtube of the machine in action.
